I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping me one step closer to my study abroad journey. It was a very valuable opportunity for me to be able to receive this scholarship to travel to a place that I have never been to. I feel very honored to have been chosen as a recipient of this scholarship.

I am currently in my third year of college and majoring in Human Resource Management and Travel Industry Management. I will be studying at Shanghai Jiao Tong University during the Fall 2019 semester. With this scholarship, I am able to see a different culture, living style, and language that is different from Hawaii. This scholarship that I received is a form of support in my study abroad journey and it truly makes a difference in my life. I hope one day I will be able to help other students to achieve their goals just as this scholarship has helped me.

I am looking forward for my study abroad trip and hope to gain memorable and fun experience while in China.
