Please pay attention and check your email regularly because you will be receiving many emails from SJTU regarding information related to registration, orientation, accommodations, insurance, visa, etc.
SJTU has a registration day on September 6, which all the exchange students have to attend to register for both the university and college. You will need to be prepared and ready to bring your passport, visa, and admission notice with you to register on that day. (Tip: strongly recommended to go there early because there will be a long line waiting for you if you go in the afternoon, because I waited almost three hours to finished the whole process!)
You will be able to receive your student ID, bank card, and course list at the Antai college registration. Instructions on how to register for classes will also be given through email.

There is also a orientation day for SJTU, which consists of two parts, one is for your college, Antai College of Economics & Management and the other one is for the university. The orientation for college will be provided information about course selection, academic calendar, school shuttle, buddy program, etc. While the orientation for the university is more general information about health and safety issues, campus life, clubs, and events happening on campus. Below are some images that are being displayed during the orientation which I thought it was very helpful.

It is highly recommended to download payment apps such as Alipay and Wechat pay since these two apps are used the most frequent and the most popular in China.
